The Authors: About the Partnership

One never knows where one will find inspiration, and the possibility that each relationship offers is always unfolding. Steve and Robin met in an unexpected way, when Steve was chairing a taskforce to help address the financial and unemployment crisis facing so many families and individuals over the last few years.

A rabbi, Robin was looking for ways to help her congregants in need, with an eye toward mobilizing the entire community to join forces and combine their strengths to help everyone. She was a taskforce member.

Steven and Robin spoke by phone in preparation for the first meeting, and discovered a synergy in their visions and views of the world. So they decided to meet for lunch at a Chinese restaurant to further their discussion. During that lunch, Steve shared with Robin his vision for the Find-Fulfill-Flourish project, highlighting how their different strengths could combine to create a powerful set of tools to help guide others on their life journey. Over fortune cookies, a partnership was born.
